Effortless Health Monitoring with Samsung’s Latest Galaxy Ring Innovation
Keeping track of your heart rate, sleep quality, and other data can be done with a smartwatch, but what if you don’t want to use a smartwatch? Samsung has a cool new idea for what you could use instead: the new Galaxy Ring.
Samsung has just released the Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s first offering in the smart ring space. The company first showed off the Galaxy Ring back in January, and it was rumored for months before that, but this is the first time we have all the details and pricing.

The Galaxy Ring doesn’t offer you features such as a screen like you would get from a smartwatch. Instead, it’s a ring that connects to your phone that’s jam-packed with all kinds of sensors for health tracking. This sleek ring offers continuous 24/7 tracking for several things that you would usually use a smartwatch for.
Samsung says that the Galaxy Ring is crafted with comfort and durability in mind, featuring a lightweight design with titanium construction and water resistance up to 10ATM. It boasts a battery life of up to seven days and comes with a quick-charging case for when you do need to top it up.

This wearable goes beyond basic fitness tracking, offering comprehensive sleep analysis, menstrual cycle tracking, and personalized health insights powered by Samsung’s AI algorithms. You can monitor various metrics, including sleep quality, heart rate, energy levels, and more, all within the Samsung Health platform. The Galaxy Ring also prioritizes heart health with real-time alerts for unusual heart rates and provides convenient features like automatic workout detection, gesture controls for compatible Galaxy smartphones, and ring location tracking. It takes inspiration from other smart rings such as the Oura Ring, and it’s a great fit if you happen to be in the Samsung ecosystem.
You can now buy the Galaxy Ring , and pre-orders will ship by July 24th. Its $399.99 price point might be a bit prohibitive for some, though.
